I've passed this place more than a 100 times now in my commute but never thought much of it from the exterior. Thanks to a sign which said "omelettes" I made a detour to dine in. The inside is small and cosy, and most of all, air conditioned. Most of the patrons that I observed were fleeting regulars or tradies on a quick stop. I'm not a huge fan of merlo coffee in general; the mocha was pretty good though. And I realise this cafe services the neighbourhood for its needs so kudos for it. The menu is value for money and the quality of the food is tasty. The place is dog friendly though only for outside sitting. The owner is very warm and welcoming.

Always love popping in here for an early breakfast, brunch or lunch. The service is always friendly and the food is fresh and tasty. A good variety of choices available from burgers, to Mexican to another awesome menu that has more yummy food to choose from like Mac ‘n’ Cheese Jaffle, Samosa Sandwich, Tropical Açai Bowl and their Eggs Benny is also another winner. Comfortable interior and exterior areas to sit, chill and chat over some lovely food with a good coffee. A friend of mine also highly recommends their Dirty Chai. What a great local cafe in the Norman Park neighbourhood!

I ordered on uber eats so I expected to pay a little more for my food which is fine. When I checked the receipt attached to my order I’d say the in store prices are pretty much the going rate for these items. I ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito which was very nice ($12). I also ordered a skinny iced latte with caramel ($8.80). If I was to be super picky I would question being charged extra for skim milk as usually full cream and skim are at no extra charge, but I’m not overly concerned paying an extra 50c as the coffee was decent. It wasn’t overly strong on the caramel but still good. I can’t comment on the atmosphere of the cafe as I got my food delivered. I will say that my order arrived fairly quickly (within 30 minutes) so I appreciated that. I am only leaving a 3 star rating for service due to reading other reviews and the lack of professionalism I can see with what the business owners have replied to other reviews with. Since you are a small family owned business please be mindful with what you share on social media and how you respond to reviews. I understand it can be frustrating when people leave you a review that doesn’t quite make a lot of sense to you at times but not acknowledging the customers concerns and blaming things on being a small business isn’t always the right approach to these reviews, especially when it is public and the whole world can see your response. All in all, I had a good experience here and would recommend the place but as someone who runs a successful business myself, I would encourage the owners to challenge themselves with how they can better respond to feedback.

Such friendly staff and really cute cafe atmosphere A large plate of food given which justifies the price. This cafe offers a lot of plant-based milk alternatives for your coffees!

Did a group order for 8 people (workplace), ordered through Uber Eats, everything we ordered arrived (this never happens at other cafes - always something missing!). Food was delicious, drinks were delicious and also very well packaged to keep them safe during transit, and everything was labelled so we knew exactly which coffee / frappe was which and we didn't have to do any guessing or taste testing to try and work it out (this is a common problem when we order coffees from other cafes). Highly recommend The Koffee Co!

No frills breakfast cafe with good Merlo coffee. Some Indian influenced dishes. I ordered the samosa sandwich, which offered something a little different for breakfast. The sandwich was tasty with a good spicy hit. There's seating out at the front of the cafe for the pooches to join you.

Oh my goodness! I can't recommend this place enough. First time ever I went today and I was blown away with the friendly staff and absolutely delicious food! Definitely will be coming back here. For food my partner got the eggs Benny and I got the big breakky wrap, and for drinks my partner got a caramel cappuccino and I got the iced chai. We both felt very satisfied and full.
